Standby Expert on Mission Angus Lambkin visits Sixth Form
Angus has worked for the United Nations in a variety of roles and countries and spoke to Sixth Form students recently on his work in engaging armed actors in support of humanitarian operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo. As a former pupil of Lagan College, he reflected on how his experience of integrated education has helped him in his working life.

Since visiting the College, Angus has joined colleagues in Turkey to join the UN Disaster Assessment Coordination Team. We wish him all the best as he carries out this vital work.
