Assessment and Reporting

At Lagan College we utilise a range of internal and external assessments to track and monitor the progress of each student so that they can reach their full potential. We have four main assessment points throughout the year that we use as a means to track the progress of all of our students.

At Key Stage 3 we use Progress Test in Maths/Progress Test in English/PASS attitude survey as baseline data to inform our internal tracking systems.

At Key Stage 4 we use Cognitive Ability Test 4 and PASS attitude survey data to track and monitor student progress and potential throughout their GCSE study.

At Key Stage 5 we use exam performance and internal tracking data to track and monitor student progress and potential throughout their A-Level study.

We strive to be a data informed school, for the purpose of supporting students to achieve their potential target grades and enjoy individual success.
