Pupils take part in Service of Recommitment and Peace

Lagan College students Malakai Hines and Maeve Campbell participated in the Service of Recommitment to a just and lasting peace on the 25^th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement at Clonard Monastery on Sunday April 16^th 2023.

During the ceremony, organised by the Corrymeela Community, we reflected on inspiration from the past and hope for the future. Among the hundreds attending were generations of peacemakers, Wave Trauma’s ‘Towards Inclusion’ choir, politicians and church leaders.

‘We bear the light of hope and courage into the world’.
