International Visitors visit College

Lagan College welcomed some International visitors this afternoon involved in the Erasmus scheme. Lakshmi Sigurdsson (University of Copenhagen, Denmark), Andreas Klopp (University of Copenhagen, Denmark), Anja Sletteland (Oslo Met University, Norway), and Gavin Duffy from Queens University Belfast. The focus of their visit involved a project on teaching controversial issues and contested narratives in RE, History and Citizenship. They wanted to learn how Lagan College dealt with how these subjects are delivered, particularly in relation to controversial issues, as well as to hear the work of our Chaplaincy. The event was an opportunity for all to learn from each other.
