Golf Team win Schools Sports Team of the Year 2023

Congratulations to our golf team who held off strong competition to be awarded the 'Lisburn and Castlereagh Schools Team of the Year 2023'. The main team consisted of Jaxon Wardlow, Patrick Morris and Ethan Irvine, backed up by Jack Magee and Rafa Poli.

The team won the Ulster Championship in October 2022 coached by Gary Wardlow. Unfortunately, Gary passed away suddenly late in 2022. The team competed at the All Ireland Championships in April 2023 and was determined to do Gary proud and won, this time coached by Andrew Morris and Jim Irvine.

Our PE department and the whole school are extremely proud of these guys and our thanks go to their parents and coaches for their support and dedication. Thanks to Faron Morrison and all his staff at Lisburn and Castlereagh Sports Development department.
