Year 9 English Speeches

Ms Bell’s Year 9 class have been writing and delivering brilliant speeches this term, which have ranged from: The War in Ukraine; Why Electric Cars are Worse Than You Think; Pocket Money and Why I Should Get More; Why Eating Less Meat WON’T Save the Planet; Why Cats Should Not Be Hated; The Cancel Culture; and Freddo Prices and the Lack of Morality!  The speeches were well-developed, highly engaging and confidently delivered. A vast range of spoken language techniques and audience participation was employed. Well done, Year 9!
