Junior teams lose out in District Football Finals.

May 10th, 2012

Our year 10 and year 8 Football teams lost out in closely fought encounters in the recent district finals.  Year 10, lead by Mr Hare and coached by Barry Gamble lost 2-1 to Bangor Academy.  Karl Martin scored our goal and Charlie Martyn was the Lagan man-of-the-match.  Two days later the year 8 team suffered the same heartbreak, losing out 2-0 to De La Salle ( Downpatrick).  Top Men for Lagan were Ryan Shaw, James Kenny and Rory Lynn.  Both teams are both already planning next season’s cup run!
